Sam Dubin

Sam Dubin was born and raised in LA. After taking a journalism class in high school, he became hooked on news. At age 18 he purchased a police scanner and began to chase car crashes, pursuits, and fires on his own. After meeting Howard Raishbrook in 2012, Sam began stringing for RMG. For Sam, there’s nothing like shooting a raging fire with the heat melting the eyepiece on his camera, or a police pursuit where he’s racing to to get a shot of the suspect passing him. Sam currently covers most of metro LA and is also finishing up college.
