Believing the US had much more to offer than his native UK Howard decided to move to Los Angeles at the age of 18. It was the change he needed to pursue his passion for production. Through persistence and raw determination he found work on feature films, commercials, music videos and infomercials. A passion for film production and current affairs, combined with an artistic business mind, led him to start RMG News with his brothers. Their company provides breaking news footage to the world’s major news networks including CNN, Fox News and Univision.
Today RMG’s client list includes scores of news channels from across the globe as well as daily TV shows and countless documentaries. Other media outlets have taken note. In 2008, The LA Times said: “RMG News is a well-oiled newsgathering force.” FHM Magazine said: “They take things further by venturing into areas that even hardened LA cameramen fear to tread.” The success of the company also caught the attention of TruTV. Stringers:LA is a reality TV series that first aired on the channel in 2008, offering viewers a behind-the-scenes look at RMG’s cutting edge work. Executives at TruTV say: “RMG News is one of the most successful news photography companies in L.A.”
