Nightcrawler (2014)
Nightcrawler is a crime/thriller film written and directed by Dan Gilroy of The Bourne Legacy. The film stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Bill Paxton, Rene Russo and Riz Ahmed. The movie was produced by Jennifer Fox, Jake Gyllenhaal, Tony Gilroy, David Lancaster, Michel Litvak and Gary Michael Walters. Gilroy made his directorial debut with this film.
The RMG News team were hired as technical consultants and advisers on the production working closely with Dan Gilroy, Jake Gyllenhaal, Riz Ahmed and Bill Paxton. In the movie Jake plays a hard-working young man seeking employment who stumbles upon the underground world of L.A. freelance crime journalism. Director Dan Gilroy went on to earn an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screen play.
